The Beach House on the north shore of Kootenay Lake is a scenic 10 minute drive from Nelson, "the best small arts town in BC". Enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains while relaxing in a private setting. The modern layout, Egyptian cotton bed sheets and gas fireplaces on two floors of spacious living space will appeal to the upscale vacationer.
Some of the local attractions world class skiing at Whitewater and Red Mountain resorts, world class golfing in Nelson, Balfour and Kootenay Bay, Ainsworth Hotsprings, Kokanee Provincial Park, Kokanee Glacier, fishing, Kokanee Marina, nature trails for mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing, canoe and kayak rentals, a boat launch, a general store and a neighbourhood pub.
The Beach House is a luxurious vacation home on a 1/2 acre waterfront property with ample room for larger parties. There are three bedrooms with king, queen and two bunk beds (4 beds). The family room has a sofa bed and a futon. The home is fully furnished. The private deck overlooking Kootenay Lake is supplied with a barbecue and deck furniture for relaxing after a day at our private beach.
