Secluded 4-season cottage on a small lake.
Great fishing and tons of wildlife around; We are located 10 minutes away from the Algonquin Park. Peace and quiet... for there is only 4 cottages sharing the lake. Our nearest neighbour is hidden and separated by trees. Our land has 28 acres surrounded by crown land. Have a walk or ride a bike on our trails! See the beautiful display of colors in Fall.
The cottage is fully equiped and decorated, including: Dishes, Toaster, coffee-maker, microwave, and VCR. Water from the tap is excellent! We supply the pillows but, you must bring your own linen... and food.
Firewood, gas BBQ, paddle boat, canoe and electric powered pontoon are also included at no extra cost. We also lend bicycles, books, games and movies... Free again!
Hey!... We also have a "Pirate ship" (pontoon) for the kids!
To protect the natural habitat, We have not created a beach, but, we have a large floating dock on the lake for swimming. We also have a sandy picnic area right by the shore.
5 minutes away from the village of Maynooth, and 20 minutes from Bancroft; There is a general store, gas bar, restaurant, LCBO, post office and art shops. Golfing and horse-back riding is close-by too. The nearest hospital is only 20 minutes away (Bancroft).
Our lake is small but, there are public boat launches nearby, on bigger lakes, for motor boats, seadoos and water skiing. During hunting season; Hundreds and hundreds of acres of crown land are available!
Smoking is allowed outside only and in the screened-in porch.
