Description
This is a charming self-catering vacation apartment - not a cottage. This cozy one bedroom apartment is on the ground floor of my home and it is wheelchair accessible.
The living room faces the garden in the rear of the house. There are seven acres of grounds much of it wooded and sloping down to the Tetagouche River. The Tetagouche river is famous for salmon and trout.

It is located in Bathurst, New Brunswick - a beautiful spot on Chaleur Bay. In the vicinity you will find many interesting things to do and places to visit. Chaleur Bay was voted by UNESCO as one of the "Most Beautiful Bays of the World" and we have the warmest beaches north of the Carolinas.

In winter this is truly a 'Winter Wonder Land" with lots of clean white snow for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Close to miles of snowmobile trails.

For exercise lovers there is a trail around much of the property and down to the river suitable for walking in Summer and skiing/snowshoeing in Winter.
Our guests also enjoy working in our small vineyard helping with pruning and harvesting.

On site is a Finnish sauna housed in a log cabin complete with wood stove. Also a lovely secluded grape arbour perfect for reading or relaxing.

We speak English, French, and German.
